Regulation on Freshmen Scholarship for International Students College of International Cooperation, Wenzhou University
 
ArticleIn order to encourage the studies and research of the international students studying at Wenzhou University, is hereby established the “Freshmen Scholarships for the International Students of Wenzhou University”.
Article Candidates
1. Students who respect the laws, and regulations of the government of the People’s Republic of China and Wenzhou University;
2. Students who actively apply for the courses of Wenzhou University;
3. The academic duration is more than one semester.

 Article Scholarship Evaluation and Confirmation
1. It depends on the issue date of the remittance slip to determine the list;
2. Students, who obtain the scholarship, should register and pay tuition fee on time, or they are regarded as giving up the scholarship voluntarily. Students must not quit school without reasons in the awarding the scholarship, or the scholarship will be cancelled.

1. Freshmen Scholarship Application Form for International Student by Wenzhou University;
2. The remittance slips of paid application fee;
3. Other certificates or documents can testify the excellence of the candidates.
Article Others
The measurement comes into effect on September 1, 2009. Final interpretation of these regulations is a right reserved by the College of International Cooperation of Wenzhou University.
 

Wenzhou University, the one intuition of Confucius Institute Scholarship Program, has the quota of 220 for the program-- Confucius Institute Scholarship
Eligibility Applicants-- must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
1. Outstanding students from Confucius Institutes (Classrooms) worldwide;
2. Foreign teachers who are teaching or planning to teach Chinese as a second language;
3. Students who received distinguished grade from the Chinese Examination series held by Confucius Institute Headquarters;
4. Outstanding Contestants in “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition; 
5. Students studying Chinese as a second language in overseas universities or colleges;
6. Applicants who meet the requirements of other of Confucius Institute Headquarters’ agreements.
Details of the Scholarships:
1. Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, fees for basic learning materials and accommodation on campus
2. Monthly allowance are at the following rates ( CNY Yuan per month)
a. Short-term studying:CNY1,400                b. Bachelor’s Degree Students:CNY1,400
c. Master’s Degree Students:CNY1,700          d. Doctor’s Degree Students:CNY2,000
3. One-off settlement subsidy, at the following rates (CNY Yuan):
a. Students who will study in China for 1 academic year or more:CNY 1,500
b. Students who will study in China more than 1 semester, but within 1 academic year:CNY 1,000.
