Delegation for State Engineering Science Committee of Pakistan Visits HEU

On 26th May, two persons in the delegation for State Engineering Science Committee of Pakistan gave a visiting to our school, Gao Wanxin, the Deputy Secretary of our school, welcomed the delegation.

In the past years, Harbin Engineering University attracted lots of students of Pakistan along with excellent qualified teachers and cozy environment of studying and living, they came for further studying of academic technology or degree studying. At present, a plenty of students who went back to Pakistan after studying in China are working at the important posts like State Defense, scientific research, teaching and so forth. Some of them even became frontrunner in their fields. This time, the visiting of the senior officials of State Engineering Committee of Pakistan to our school played an important role in two aspects, on one hand, the long friendship and cooperative relationship between two sides are consolidated and deepened further. On the other hand, we had a deep discuss and negotiation about our foresting senior talents for the committee in the field of engineering technology. As a result, we reached an agreement and signed memo of understanding together.
After the conference, the delegation visited museum of school history and museum of shipbuilding.

In 2001, State of Engineering Science Committee was founded with the headquarter set in Islamabad. As Pakistani science research organization, the committee is responsible for the implementation of research on the fields of IT, electrical engineering, mechanical, chemical engineering and so on. This committee is designed to tackle the key problems of complex technologies in industrial fields and prospect research for the country and to cooperate with all the universities and science research institutes all over the world.
