Consul-general of Pakistan in Guangzhou visits SCUT
On the morning of March 6, the Consul-general of Pakistan in Guangzhou Mr. Babar Amin with another two delegates visited SCUT. Vice president ZHU Min welcomed the guests.
Mr. Babar. Amin hoped that the cooperation between NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan) and SCUT would be furthered in fields of scientific research and academic exchanges. Vice president ZHU said that China and Pakistan had always remained a deep friendship and expressed that SCUT would be glad to have NUST professors to give lectures in China and would welcome Pakistani students to study in SCUT.
It is reported that NUST is one of the top universities of technology in Pakistan. It consists of 10 schools, specializing in research of engineering and information technology, medical science and management science. Most of the professors in NUST have an overseas education background and graduated from famous universities in China, which lays a good foundation for the cooperation between NUST and SCUT.
