Introduction

China Women’s University (CWU) is the first women’s higher learning Institution in modernChinasince 1949. It is affiliated with All-China Women’s Federation and academically administered by the Ministry of Education. It is a university specialized in women’s higher education and research in related areas.

As the largest women institute of higher learning inChina, and the only one, It offers graduate degree programs and under-graduate programs exclusively for women. CWU has now 7 schools and 4 departments. Other than the undergraduate and gradate programs, CWU also offers high vocational education, adults continuing education, and training programs for women leaders, etc. The current student number studying on campus is around 5,500 from all throughChina. Over 95% of them are female. Dedicated to Women’s higher education, CWU is established as a new force of forming more future women leaderships in China.
