    Application of self-funded students

I. Program: MBBS program (taught in English). Refer to the appendix for the program introduction.

II. Qualification of applicants: non-Chinese citizens over 18 and under 40 years old with a senior high school diploma and above, good school performance, good physical health (without color weakness, color blindness), qualified English language proficiency for medical majors and no breach of Chinese laws.

III. The length of schooling: 6 years.

IV. Cost:

application fee: RMB 800;

tuition fee: RMB 30,000 per year;

accommodation fee: RMB 4,000 per year;

other costs such as the cost of the teaching materials are subject to the actual situation.

VI. Application procedures

(ii) Submission of application materials

1. Originalvalid passport ( pages with photo and address)

2. Highest diploma/degree /pre-graduation certificate (notarized scanned copy): If the applicant is pursuing study or working at the time of application, should alsos ubmit bona fide learning certificate issued by school or employment certificate by employer. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

3. Transcripts of the most advanced studies (notarized scanned copy):Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

4. Recommendation letter from school

5. Economic assurance or financial proof:documents proof personal finance or sponsored by family, government and financial warrantor.

6. Other attachments (If any): eg. physical examination record forforeigner, No-criminal record certificate, English proficiency certificate, HSK report, study plan, etc.

(iii) Review and admission

After the review of application materials, the eligible students will be offered a Pre-admission Letter;

After the assessment of applicants, the eligible students will be offered an Admission Letter (original hard copy) and JW202 Form upon the approval of superior leaders, which indicates that they are formally admitted.

Application materials will not be returned to applicants regardless of the results of application.
