ZJU Snatches 3 Gold Medals in Provincial Collegiate Swimming Championship

    Zhejiang Provincial Collegiate Swimming Championship was held on June 2-5 at Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics. The Zhejiang University varsity team clinched 3 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 5 bronze medals in Division I.

    Liu Yifan, Yang Shangjin, Yu Tianyi and Song Chen won a gold medal in the men’s 4×50m medley relay event; Zhang Qiyang, Song Chenbo, Zeng Xiangrui and Yu Tianyi garnered a silver medal in the men’s 4×100m freestyle relay event; Ju Siwei clinched 2 gold medals in women’s 200m and 400m freestyle events; Li Jiawei won a silver medal in the women’s 200m backstroke event; Song Chenbo won 2 bronze medals in men’s 100m and 50m freestyle events; Yu Tianyi won a silver medal in the men’s 400m freestyle event and a bronze medal in the men’s 200m butterfly event; Liu Yifan won a silver medal in the men’s 200m backstroke event and a bronze medal in the men’s 50m backstroke event; Zhang Qiyang won a silver medal in the men’s 50m freestyle event; and Yang Shangjin won a bronze meal in the men’s 200m breaststroke event.
