状况 vs. 状态
zhuàngkuàng vs. zhuàngtài
Both words indicate the state affairs, but the stress is different. 状况 stresses the actual state of affairs, e.g. 身体状况 shēntǐ zhuàngkuàng, 生活状况 shēnghuó zhuàngkuàng, 生产状况 shēngchǎn zhuàngkuàng, etc. while 状态 stresses the state or the formation, e.g. 固体状态 gùtǐ zhuàngtài, 心理状态 xīnlǐ zhuàngtài, 兴奋状态 xīngfèn zhuàngtài.
(1) 比赛现场的状况不容乐观啊。
(2) 他的健康状况让人担忧。
(3) 由于危险尚未排除,所有现场的消防员都出于紧急戒备状态。
(4) 老师鼓励同学们继续保持积极的学习状态。
As a rule, when used in a sentence, 状况、状态 usually takes attributives.
两个名词都表示事物所呈现出的某种情况或样子,但侧重点有所不同。“状况”侧重事物呈现的具体情况、形式,如“身体状况”、“生活状况”、“生产状况”等;而“状态”侧重于人或事物表现的形态,如“固体状态”、“心理状态”、“兴奋状态”。
一般情况下,充当句子成分时,“状况”、“状态”前多带定语。
