Recently, with strict assessment of experts of China Scholarship Council, three projects of South-Central University For Nationalities (SCUN) win approval. The projects include "Undergraduate Exchange Program between SCUN and Chonbuk National University of South Korea", "Undergraduate Exchange Program between SCUN and Jeonju University of South Korea" and "Undergraduate Exchange Program between SCUN and Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service of Russia”, with which SCUN would send 10 students for overseas study. This is the first time that SCUN is granted the project.

    "International Exchange Program of Outstanding Undergraduates" is implemented by State Scholarship Council in 2012, aiming to enhance cooperation between domestic high-level universities and world-renowned universities and institutes, to promote cultural communication, to develop students' innovative consciousness, practical ability and international competence, and thus to meet with the demand of the country for professional, high-quality talents. The program mainly supports universities sponsored by "211 Project", "Featured Key Disciplines Program", "Plan for Cultivating Top-notch Students of Basic Disciplines" and "Plan for Education and Training of Outstanding Engineers." The program goes to general universities with enrollment of undergraduates for the first time in 2015. As early as Nov. 2014, SCUN applied for and then was authorized the qualification of this project.

     In past years, SCUN actively expands its cooperation with oversea well-known universities in student exchange programs. The projects funded by CSC this time will help students broaden their international view and promote their international development. As is reported, School of International Education has started its selection of undergraduate students for the project.
