Outstanding foreign students who are studying degree programs at HIT. (Chinese Government Scholarship Students are not included)
Outstanding foreign students who are applying to study at HIT.
Outstanding foreign students through an intercollegiate agreement.

Scholarship classification
Exempt from tuition, accommodation, living allowance is provided.
(400RMB/month/person for undergraduate student; 500RMB/month/
person for master; 600RMB/month/person for PhD)
Exempt from tuition and accommodation.
Exempt from tuition.

Application Qualifications
Being friendly to China and Chinese people and respect the Chinese law; Abide by the HIT regulations and likely to cooperate with others; Study hard; being studious and diligent in academic research.
Undergraduate (conducted in Chinese)
HSK Level 6, transcript of high school, certificate, recommendation, application form and resume.
Master (conducted in Chinese)
HSK Level 6, transcript of undergraduate, certificate, recommendation from two professors of relative disciplines, application form and resume.
PhD (conducted in Chinese)
SK Level 6, transcript of postgraduate, certificate, recommendation from two professors of relative disciplines, application form and resume.
PhD (conducted in English)
English scores (e.g.: GRE, TOEFL, IELTS etc.), transcript of postgraduate, certificate, recommendation from two professors of relative disciplines, application form and resume.
Scholarship Management and Comment
Deadline of application is the end of July per year. The Scholarship is distributed in September (Living allowance distributed by month). The right of being awarded may be canceled if the student is not qualified for the award.
Degree program student at HIT may get an application form at the International Student Center, fill it up and apply to the discipline office and the department. Postgraduate student shall be recommended by two professors of relative disciplines, and be reported to the Graduate School after the approval of the department. Undergraduate student shall be reported to the department.
Foreign students who are going to study degree program at HIT may contact directly International Student Center. They will be informed of whether they have got the scholarship or not within one month,
Foreign students should enroll in at the right time. Otherwise they may count to abandon.
