Chinese Language Training Center of HIT, which belongs to International Student Center, was established in 1985. The Center offers the 6 levels of the Chinese language programs and various types of short-term training courses, including Spoken Chinese, reading, listening, writing, business Chinese, news reading and Chinese culture and history, etc. Besides these, the Center also offers preparation courses for foreign students who wish to enter an undergraduate program at HIT. The Center owns a well-trained faculty rich in teaching experience, and it has small-size classes. |

- Application Procedure
Applicants should contact the Chinese Language Training Center by submitting the HIT foreign students application form. Applicants should submit application one month ahead before the course begins. The Center will send the visa application form along with the JW202 Form and the acceptance letter to applicants who are accepted. The students is expected to show the acceptance letter and JW202 Form to Chinese Embassies in their countries in order to obtain an X-status visa or a L-status/ F-status visa which will be revised after their arrival in HIT. Failure to register before the deadline will disqualify the student from enrollment.
- Fees:
(1) Registration fee: 260 RMB per person
(2) Tuition:
Spring Semester (Mar. 1-Jul.6): 6500 RMB
Autumn Semester (Sep.1- Jan.6): 6500 RMB
One academic year (two semesters): 13000 RMB
Short-term Program: 1st Week: 1500 RMB
From 2nd Week:400 RMB/week
Note:
A. Please contact the HIT Chinese Language Training Center for more information .
B. Two-week program: 1500 RMB, next week: 400 RMB/week.
C. Beginning of the academic year. Tuition is also nonrefundable unless the University is responsible for the tuition refund request.
(3). Accommodation: 500 RMB per month, per person(no including electricity fee).
(4). Other fees: students are responsible for their boarding, medical care, teaching materials and travel expense on vacations.
Note:
Tuition must be paid in full the one week after classes begin. If the student leaves or transfers from Hit without no special causes, tuition will not be refunded.
