Each apartment which is available for one to two persons in the HIT Foreign Student Apartment is equipped with a washroom (hot water is available for 24 hours). There is a public kitchen for foreign students in the apartment. Each apartment is facilitated with telephone, television and Internet access. Foreign students may also use the public entertainment room with TV, DVD and piano. Besides these, they can use other public facilities at campus such as the library and the gymnasium. etc. Foreign students may choose the dining hall at campus or the restaurants outside the campus which offer local fare at inexpensive prices. The commercial service at campus such as a hospital, a supermarket and a laundry make the campus life convenient.
As the management and service International Student Center of HIT will arrange various colorful outclass activities for the students such as once a month free City Tour , the lectures on Chinese calligraphy, shadowboxing and the Chinese songs, etc. are given regularly.
