University Profile
China Women’s University (CWU) is the first women’s higher learning Institution in modern China since 1949. It is affiliated with All-China Women’s Federation and academically administered by the Ministry of Education. It is a university specialized in women’s higher education and research in related areas.
As the largest women institute of higher learning in China, and the only one, It offers graduate degree programs and under-graduate programs exclusively for women. CWU has now 7 schools and 4 departments. Other than the undergraduate and gradate programs, CWU also offers high vocational education, adults continuing education, and training programs for women leaders, etc. The current student number studying on campus is around 5,500 from all through China. Over 95% of them are female. Dedicated to Women’s higher education, CWU is established as a new force of forming more future women leaderships in China.

- Chinese Language Grade HSK 6
- Senior high school graduation or equivalent to a Chinese high school graduate
- In good health, and willing to abide by Chinese law and the regulations of China Women’s University

If applying to transfer to study at CWU from other universities, placement could be offered after passing the entrance examination. The grades and credits of the courses taken at other universities could be admitted without taking the courses again. Undergraduate diploma could be offered when meeting the conditions of graduation and degree certification. For transfer students, at least 2-year full time studying is a must to get the diploma.
Non-degree programs

Duration: 5 weeks to 1 year
Teaching Mode: grouping into individual classes of 10-15 students

- The HSK Certificate is available, if passing the National Chinese Grading Test.
