Mount Putuo in the Zhoushan Islands of Zhejiang Province is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. The scenic spot has a total area of 41.95 sq km, dotted with exotic rocks, stones and caves, and clean and smooth beaches.

The famous views include the Thousand-Step Sand Beach, HundredStep Sand Beach, Massive Rock, Two Tortoises Rock, Cave of Buddhist Sounds, Cave of Tidal Sounds and Sun-Facing Cave.
