The introduce of specialty:
China is the hometown of tea, and the Sichuan Mt. Mending is one of the tribute-teas and the original places of the Chinese tea cultures and arts. The tea cultivation、manufacture and tasting history had became the important part of “Chongqing and Sichuan culture” and “Chinese tea culture ”.The researches of “Mt. Mending tribute-teas”、 “the tea –horse ancient road ” 、“Brick tea of Kangzang ” etc aroused infinite interesting of a group of scholars and lover from all-over the world. The department of tea Science of Sichuan Agricultural University is the unique advanced tea-talent training base in Sichuan province, which locates the beautiful Yaan City, engaged long-term the researches of the tea industry engineering、tea Science、tea trading and tea culture. In our department, some are Chinese famous tea experts on the history of Mt. Mending tea; some are good at tea art and manufacture. Those year, many students or scholars from Taiwan、Hong Kong、Japan、South Korea and USA made extensive communication and study. In order to promote more intercommunion, we will take in short-term visiting-scholars、researchers and abroad-students. The arranged courses comprises the theoretic study、the research of the tea area、the “Mt. Mending tea culture” and the “the tea-horse ancient road.” We can teach in Chinese、English、Japanese and Korean.

3. Time and study fee
3.1 Course plan and study fee
Time schedule: Monday to Friday
AM.: 8:00 to 11:45: specialty courses or dissertation
PM.: 14:00 to 16:00: Visiting exercitation (2 to 3 times every week, optionally)
Study fee: 20 hours every week
$150.00/week (without visiting exercitation);
$200.00/week (visiting exercitation, at least 4 person)
3.2 Accommodation arrange
You may stay at the Foreign Guest House with price $14.00/day, which is equipped with bathroom, air-conditioner, TV and telephone. You can take meal at dining room costing $3 to $6 per day.
4. When the study is finished, you will be awarded the certification by Sichuan Agricultural University. |
