August 24 evening, the 29th Summer Olympic Games closing ceremony held in "bird's nest",Beijing National Stadium. China's well-known soprano singer Song Zuying and world-renowned tenor singer Placido Domingo perform the theme song of the closing ceremony, "The flame of love".

Domingo and Song Zuying preformed the theme of Beijing Olympics Closing ceremony on Aug 24th.

"The flame of love" is a duet in Chinese and English. For prepare for chinese pronouncation, Domingo refresh the music scores, marked it with phonetic transcription, practise everywhere even on the flight to Beijing.

Song Zuying, ranked Senior Colonel,  the most renowned soprano in China. She is considered one of the representatives of "Oriental Art" by most chinese. Song Zuying's gift of singing is something related to her Hmongb descent, a chinese minority with rare population. In recent years,Song Zuying traveled arround the world with his song, and engaged in art exchanges with countries in Europe, Australia, the United States, Canada and Southeast Asian. In 2002 Korea's World Cup Soccer tournament concert, Song was invited as the representative singer of Chinese. In December 2002, as the cultural emissary of 30 years anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationship between China and Australia.  Song held the "good old days - Song Zuying solo concert" successfully in the Sydney Opera House. November 2003, the Golden Hall in Vienna, Austria, she also held the personal solo concert successfully . October 2006, in Kennedy Arts Center of Washington, she  held a "One beautiful Jasmine - Song Zuying solo concert". And then the US government announced October 12th as "Song Zuying Day" in each year.
