The Beijing government's scholarship program offers financial aid to international students who enroll in regular college courses 。

For the Olympic Games in 2008, and to attract more and more friends of the Chinese people to study in Beijing , the government of Beijing has established the Foreign Students Scholarship Program. It aims at subsidizing the students who come to Beijing to study by attending regular college courses. When these students pay their tuition fee, they will be awarded 20,000 RMB toward the first academic year; in the second and third academic years, they can still receive a 2,000-7000 RMB scholarship per semester according to their course of study.
