2、Time for School Opening:

For the Elementary Chinese Class and Intermediate Chinese Class, students can apply for either spring or fall semester. The school opening time is end of February or early March for the spring semester and end of August or early September for the fall semester.

The Speed-up Chinese Class is available all year round as long as there are no less than 10 people.

The vocational and technical classes are available every fall of the year and   the school opening time is from end of August or beginning of September.

3、 Application Time:

Spring semester class: Application is accepted from last October to end of February of this year.

Fall semester class: Application is accepted from April to end of August.

Note: Non-degree Program is open for transfer students in both fall and spring semesters. For applicants who fail to process application in regulated time, please contact the International Department.

Appendix：Application Procedures

Recommender or applicant fills out Application Form of Chinese Education Base of overseas Chinese Affairs of Guangdong Province and submits it to the International Department on the school website or send fax, E-Mail.

Recommender or applicant submits the photocopies of the applicant’s passport, the highest educational diploma and degree certificate obtained (one for each). The application fee (350 RMB and the fee for the JW202 form (50 RMB) are paid or remitted at the same time.

The school examines the above documents. Once the application is accepted, the admission notice and the JW202 form will be issued to the applicant admission notice, a JW202 form will be issued and sent to the student. Upon application, the originals of the above two materials will be sent to the student.

The applicant, whose application has been made in regulated application time and accepted, goes to the Chinese embassies or consulates to process the “F” visa (for studying in China within 180 days) or the “X” visa (for studying in China more than 180 days) .The applicants, except those from Africa and Middle East may also enter China with a tourist visa if failing to process “F” or “X” visa for lack of time. Upon registration, the school will help students convert the tourist visa into a “F” or “X” visa. Transfer students from other Chinese universities shall complete transfer procedure of Resident Permit in local Public Security Department before they arrive.

The applicant registers to the school in time according to the requirements stated in the Admission Notice, bringing with him/her 10 bareheaded, full-face photos (specifications: 4/5). The materials must be brought are as follows.1) For those no less than 18 years old, an original copy of “Application Form of the Chinese Educational Base of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangdong Province”  must be submitted for verification ; a photocopy of Passport or other valid IDs ; 2) for those less than 18 years old, one copy of “Application Form of the Chinese Educational Base of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangdong Province” must be submitted for verification upon registration ; a photocopy of Passport or other valid IDs, a photocopy of Birth Certificate, a photocopy of Passport or other valid IDs of the applicant’s parents, guardian’s Letter of Authorization which must be signed by the guardian.
