   Application for Admission
  Student Categories and Admission Requirements

(a) Undergraduate students (4 years, medical sciences for five years): Those with a senior high school diploma and aged 55 or under.
(b) Candidates for Master’s degrees (3 years): Those who have a bachelor’s degree and recommendations by two professors or associate professors and have passed the entrance examinations given by the University, aged 40 or under.
(c)  Ph. D. candidates (3 years): Those who have a Master’s degree and recommendations by two professors or associate professors and have passed the entrance  examinations given by the University, aged 45 or under.
(d)  The Chinese language Requirements for the degree students: For liberal arts, economic and managerial studies, the score for the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) should be Grade 6 or above; for sciences, technology and medical studies, Grade 3 or above.
(e)  Non-degree students (1-2 years): College students who have finished 2 years' study and want to take relevant courses in China, aged 55 or under.
(f)  Non-degree advanced students (within 1 year):  Those who have a Master’s degree or Ph. D degree and want to undertake advanced studies on specific topics under the supervision of Chinese professors, aged 55 or under.
(g)  Chinese language learners: Those with a senior high school diploma, and those with a basic command of Putonghua (Mandarin) in listening and speaking if they want to go into a Cantonese language program, aged 18-55.
Application Time and Procedure
(a) The university practices a double-semester system. The academic year starts in September. Generally the fall semester lasts from September 1 to the end of January and the spring semester from March 1 to mid July.
(b)  Application deadlines:
Graduate studies: May 5
Undergraduate studies and other programs: June 5 (December 5th for the Chinese language programs in the spring semester)
When and Where to take the Examinations:

Undergraduates Studies:
Applicants do not have to take entrance examinations and they can apply for being enrolled as regular students if they can satisfy the requirements for the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK). The school decides the enrollment through the evaluation on the educational background.
Graduate studies:
Applicants for Master’s Programs are required to take examinations in three related subjects.
Applicants for Ph. D programs are required to take the examinations in two related subjects.
When and where to take the examinations:
The examinations for the postgraduate programs will be decided and organized by the schools or colleges.
Note: Non-degree students and Chinese language learners are not required to take the entrance examinations.

Undergraduate
Application form, a copy of passport, senior high school diploma and  transcripts, Certificate of HSK.
Postgraduates
Application form, a copy of passport, a certificate of graduation, a certificate of degree, transcripts, research plan and personal resume, and two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, Certificate of HSK.
Non-degree students and non-degree advanced students
Application form, a copy of passport and a certificate of education, study plan.
Chinese language learners
Application form, a copy of passport and a certificate of education.
