College of International Education Exchange was established in Taiyuan University of Technology in 2003.  Within less than three years’ history, this college has developed into a window of opening-up in TUT. 

This college welcomes the students from all corners of the world.  It is now having over 20 international students from as many countries as 11.  In this college they learn Chinese language and Chinese culture.  They can also apply to study for a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in all the majors that are offered in TUT. 

This college exchanges teachers with the universities from other countries. It employs native English-speaking teachers from English-speaking countries and employs teacher of other disciplines. The well-equipped living quarters and other fringe-benefits are attractive to quite some foreign teachers.

This college shoulders the responsibilities to bring Taiyuan University of Technology into the swing of internationalization, to get in touch with all the relevant universities from other countries and to introduce Taiyuan University of Technology to the rest of the world.  In order to achieve the goal, this college is seeking all the cooperation and collaboration from all over the world. And with its development, the day will come when Taiyuan University of Technology will turn fully internationalized.
