Requirement

Foreign citizens: Over 18 years old, in good health, Graduates of Senior High School or above. HSK requirement: grade 5 or above.
(Note: Graduates of junior colleges can directly begin their third-year study.)

Procedure

  • Applicants require a ‘HEU Application Form for International Students’. This can be found either via HEU website; or by contact the Foreign Affairs Office. Following items can be posted to the International Students Section:
    •  Completed International Student Application Form,
    •  Passport photography,
    •  Certificate of HSK (at least grade 5),
    •  Related transcripts at high school,
    •  Graduation Certificate Photocopy of high school.
  • If you are accepted by HEU, we will send you an ‘Admission Notice’ and ‘Visa Application for Study in China’ (JW202 Form).
  • With the materials mentioned above, applicants can apply for an X visa (student visa) in the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate.
  • Please arrive at HEU and enroll on the prescribed date with
    •  Original Records of Physical Examination

(Blood Test Result, ECG, and X-ray Film are required),

    •  ‘Admission Notice’,
    •  ‘Visa Application for Study in China’ (JW202 Form),
    •  Registry fee of 320yuan RMB (Applying for the courses are taught in Chinese),

Registry fee of 400yuan RMB (Applying for the courses are taught in English)

Classes

The same course requirements as Chinese Students. The Student who passes all the course exams and Thesis Presentation will be awarded a Bachelor Degree Certificate and a Graduate Certificate of HEU.


Master and Doctorate Degree

Requirements

Master: Foreign citizens, in good health, a Bachelor Degree in related courses.
HSK requirement: grade 6 or above.
 (Note: no HSK requirement, if one chooses to have classes in English)
Doctorate: Foreign citizens, in good health, a Master Degree of related courses.
HSK requirement: grade 6 or above.
(Note: no HSK requirement, if one chooses to have classes in English)

    •  ‘Admission Notice’,

    •  The registry fee of 250yuan RMB.

Classes

Beginner’s Class (A), Elementary Class (B),
Intermediate Class (C and D), Advanced Class (E,F,G, and H)
There will be about 10 to 15 students in each class.
