Located in the south of Henan Province and upper reaches of Huaihe River, Xinyang, the pearl of south Henan Province, is in the north of Dabie Mountain, west of Anhui Province and north of Hubei Province.     Xinyang is an important agricultural and sideline product base in Henan Province. The production of rice, aquatic resources, tea, Chinese chestnut and ginkgo ranks the first in Henan Province. Among them, Xinyang tea, one of the Chinese best tea brands, is the most prestigious one which wins a lot of gold prizes both at home and abroad due to its fine shape, green color, strong fragrance and taste. Shangtianti non-mental mine is the biggest mine in Asia with a total reserves of 0.7 billion T including 0.12 billion T pealite. The proved reserves take up half of the total reserves of the country and there are also 0.51 billion T of high quality and large quantity bentonite reserves which rank the first in the country and are easy to be exploited.
