High quality teaching resources
• The School of Humanities consists of Chinese Department, English Department and Tourism Management Department, with an enrollment of over 1000 students. It owns vigorous and well-structured faculty members. Among them, 25 are full or associate professors. Our Mandarin teachers are all professional teachers with doctorate or master degrees. The teaching method is flexible, practical, and varied according to different students, thus having good teaching effect.
Various activities
• We offer various programs as short-term intensive training of Chinese language, Mandarin for Chinese majors or non-Chinese majors, integrated with colorful cultural experiences to meet the demands of different levels of students.
Experiencing local culture
• The outstanding advantage of studying in our university is integrating the Chinese learning with sightseeing. With a long history and brilliant traditional culture, Yancheng claimed its founding as a county over 2100 years ago. Famous for its wetland, Yancheng borders on the Yellow Sea with two state nature reserves of wild elks and red-crowned cranes. Our Mandarin teaching combines Chinese history and culture with historical figures and beautiful sceneries which enlarge the students’ range of the knowledge.
Reasonable tuition and low accommodation fees
• Yancheng Institute of Technology is a state-owned university which can offer lower tuition but high quality Chinese teaching. Comparing with other universities in big cities, accommodation fee is lower and attract many overseas students to study in our university.
