Application Procedures

• Submit application: Fill in the admission application form of Gannan Normal University . You can submit your application form by post, fax or email.

• Enrollment: We will send you the matriculation certificate of Gannan Normal University and the visa application form (JW202 form) after your application is approved. Then please go to the Chinese embassy in your country in time and apply for an X visa (study period is more than 180 days) or F visa (study period is within 180 days).

• For those who can't get the X visa because of some other reasons can apply for an L or F visa first. Our school will help you change the visa into X visa and get resident permit after you arrive in the university. You should be responsible for the expenses.

• For those short-term students (within 2 months) can come to study in our university by L or F visa.

• Registration: Applicants should be in school and register before the deadline of registration which is shown in the matriculation certificate. The International Education & Cultural Exchange Center will help you go through the formalities.

• Resident procedure: In order to insure your natural study and daily life, we will do the relevant procedures according to your visa type and your stay period.

• Assigning classes: After registration, new students will be given an exam by Foreign Students Office and Teaching Research Office. The students will be put into appropriate classes by the result of the exam. Within the first week of study, students can be in different classes to listen and decide which class suits them best.

• Resident permit: We will help students with L or X visa get a resident permit within one month after they arrive in our school. For those who already hold a resident permit can go through the formalities in International Education & Cultural Exchange Center directly.
