Transportation:

Gannan Normal University has two campuses and one living area situated in Zhanggong District, Ganzhou City . Flights shuttle daily between Guangzhou and Ganzhou. In addition, there are flights come from and for Beijing , Shanghai , Guangzhou , Shenzhen, Nanjing and Nanchang , the capital of Jiangxi Province .

The main campus is situated in Huangjin District. It is about 10kms distance from urban city. Transportation here is good. Buses Route 117 and Route 103 shuttle between this campus and urban city every several minutes, however, it only costs you 2 Yuan for each ticket. As for taxi, it costs you around 15 Yuan each time.

You can easily buy all the necessities you want since there's already built super market and stores of various goods in the campus.

Library:

Our library is the biggest in size in Southern part of Jiangxi Province . This library, elegant and comfortable, has collected more than 1,200,000 books. Computer management system and electronic reading room has been established, too. Meanwhile, there are abundant electronic books, electronic periodicals, data bank for electronic Chinese-English periodicals and various other professional data banks. In addition, college computer network center and computer center of college library will provide you with all round and convenient internet service.

Food:

Canteen room here is large, providing you various types of food. There are also some few independent dining rooms in the canteen. According to your request, the cook will offer you food of high or low quality. Price here is charged reasonably. Besides, fresh fruit can be bought in the campus department store. Markets are just around campus.

Medical service:

For common illness such as light cold, headache and fever, you can have medical service in campus health center since there are doctors in it. In addition, there are some large hospitals equipped with advanced apparatus in urban city.

Banking:

There is a bank in campus, where you can save and withdraw money as you wish.

Post office:

For the convenience of students in this campus, a post office has been established.

Sports:

To meet different students' need and enrich their campus lives, we have built a standard playground and some other sports facilities such as gym, basketball ground, football ground, badminton ground, tennis ground and swimming pool, etc.

Living cost:

Provided living in campus, alimony for each month is around 500 Yuan per person, including cost for meals, communications and traffic transportations. Thus, the yearly alimony is about 6000 Yuan.

Price: meat: 18 Yuan/ kg; fresh fish: 9 Yuan/kg; chicken: 16 Yuan/kg; duck: 9 Yuan/kg; egg: 0.5 Yuan each; tomato: 3 Yuan/kg; greengrocery: 1-2 Yuan/kg. Usually, students now in this university cost 300 Yuan on average for alimony each month.
