When registering, students must pay a room-deposit (200 RMB for building #2, 300 RMB for building #5), which will be given back when checking out.
Students can also rent an apartment out of the campus, but must register at the local police station.
MEALS
There is a canteen with Chinese, local and Muslim food on the school campus, the usual price for meals for one month is about 500 RMB.

INSURANCE
Foreign students must obtain international health-insurance. Chinese Ministry of Education will obtain a “Comprehensive Health Insurance for Foreign Students in China” for students with scholarships. Self-supporting students can also obtain health insurance after having registered at The University.
Insurance fee: 200RMB for a year / 120RMB for a semester
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
1. Each semester the school organizes activities for students so that they can visit the most famous sights in Dalian, such as: distinguished squares, parks, the famous Golden Stone Beach, Bingyugou etc. Furthermore, the school offers some after-school activities, such as tennis, taijiquan, art of paper-cutting, Chinese cuisine, Chinese songs, Chinese drama etc.
2. Each semester every student is granted 50 RMB, this amount is maintained by the teacher in charge of a class and should be spent on activities organized by the class.Christmas gathering
-Every year before Christmas the school organizes artistic programmes for all foreign students.
Language practice
-Every year the third-year and fourth-year students organize activities to put their language into practice.
CAMPUS LIFE
There is a school hospital, Construction bank, post-office, shops, market, canteens with Chinese, local and Muslim food that can be found on the campus. The area also courts for basketball, volleyball, tennis, football, baseball, table-tennis etc. In addition, in the school’s neighbourhood there is the Bank of China, Dalian Fifth People’s Hospital, Newmart shopping center, all can be reached within five-minute walk.
