Programs for International Students

International students have the following options at Xichang College:                                  

1. (1) Visiting student status (non-degree granting) for one or two years;                              
2. (2) Short-term Chinese studies programs or Yi language courses.                                

Visiting student

(1) Application prerequisites: a personal resume, highest degree certificate, official academic transcripts, certificate of Chinese Proficiency level, a photocopy of passport. To ensure the quality of teaching, Chinese proficiency examination for visiting student will be held after enrollment. Having passes the examination, the student can begin his/her specialized studying, If not, he/she should makeup Chinese studying, and then pass the examination organized by Xichang College.
