Tonghua Normal University is a college of undergraduate course established with the approval of the State Council on December 28, 1978, which is located in easily accessible Changbai Mountain hillfoot with green hills and clear waters ------Tonghua of Jilin Province. Regarding Centre Garden as the core, the college covers an area of more than 300,000 square meters, where the green land and the flowers contrast finely with each other, with quiet environment and attractive scenery. The college has 15 departments, 39 specialties, among which 30 are bachelor degrees, and the rests are specialties of training; Besides, There is an Adult Education College too. There are more than 800 teaching and administrative staff now, among whom 181 are professors, and 186 are lecturers. College's teaching strength is rich, teacher's academic level is high, and age composition is rational.
