New Anti-Terrorism University Courses Now on Offer

China is seriously gearing up to defend itself against possible threats in light of the recent attacks that have been shocking the entire nation. Whether all these attacks are linked to terrorism or not, groups around China, including air stewardesses, and even monks have all been training to fight off potential terrorists. Now patriotic students can jump on the anti-terrorism train with new courses available at the People’s Public Security University.

The anti-terrorism course has been created as a response to the recent violence which is ‘seriously threatening national security and social stability,’ according to Deputy Director, Li Yan. The core courses include terrorist organization research; international cooperation against terrorism; security risk assessment and collecting evidence of cyber crime. Practical courses include negotiation in terrorist attacks.
