2010 CTBU Study and Culture Tour Participants Visiting Local Families
May 22nd was the day for the 2010 CTBU Study and Cutlure Tour participants to visit the local families. 40 International students and faculty members spent one day with 26 local families.
Before they started the special day, a brief ceremony was held in the Distance Learning Center, which was hosted by Han Yan Director of International Cooperation & Exchange Office. As one of the hosting families, Pro. Gou Chaoli, Vice President of CTBU, gave a speech, extending her thanks to the participant families, hoping that the international students and teachers can learn more about Chinese culture, and at the same time the beautiful scenery and the warm-hearted Chongqing people can gave them a deep impression.
The hosting families arranged a variety of activities such as hot-pot dinner, making dumplings, Karaoke, and etc. The foreign guests all said that they had a wonderful day and really appreciated it. They all expressed their thanks to this chance that they could have close communication with local families.
