President Wang Meeting with Windesheim University Delegation

Transtlate In the afternoon of 7th, President Wang Chongju and Vice President Gou Chaoli met with Dr. Albert Cornelissen, President of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and Mr. Harry Frantzen, Dean of Education, Mr. Bram Donkers Dean of Physical Education and Prof. Pieter van Essen from the Economics and Business School.
President Wang extended the warmest welcome to the guests, and expressed sincere thanks to Dr. Cornelissen for the support of the cooperation between the two universities. Both sides discussed the possibility of establishment of Confucius Institute and explored the cooperation in faculty and students exchange.
Before the meeting, the delegation had a campus tour and planted an osmanthus tree which symbolizes the friendship between the two universities in the Friendship Garden.
Windesheim University is a sister university of CTBU. In the past five years, cooperative projects have been carried out in the discipline of business and industrial design. A CTBU delegation led by President Wang visited Windesheim University in Nov.2009.
