Opening Ceremony of Chinese Training for West Point Held
On the morning of Jan.7th, opening ceremony of Chinese training for West Point was held at Friendship Club. Related directors and responsible staff of DIR and International Language College, along with some lecturers and team-leading teachers and students from West Point attended the ceremony.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Prof. Liu Fuhua, vice dean of International Language College. DIR director Prof. Liu Debin made the welcome address, showing great welcome to freshers from West Point. Moreover, he hoped them to make Chinese friends based on studying Chinese, and attend students activities. The team-leading teacher thanked for JLU warm reception and tight-scheduled course, hoping JLU and West Point keep the stable cooperation to make the project better. The students made brief introduction, saying they will not spare efforts to improve their Chinese.
There are 5 students altogether attending this course for 4 months, which are students of the 18th term since both sides starting the cooperation.
