Nanchang, Where The Army Flag Is Raised
Nanchang, literally translated "Southern Prosperity", is the capital of Jiangxi Province in southeastern China. It is located in the north-central portion of the province, famous for its scenery, rich history and cultural sites. Anciently, Nanchang was most famous for its merchants, alchemists and tea. It was one of the key transit stations for porcelain, from the ancient town of Jingdezhen to the northeast. The city remains an important farming area for grains, edible-oil, meat, milk, aquatic products and vegetables.
