Transtlate The delegation led by Tom Connor, Australian Consul General in Shanghai visited Anhui University on the afternoon of June 23.
Li Renqun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee met with them in the office building on Qinyuan Campus. Directors from Office of International Communication and Cooperation, the News Center, School of Economics and School of Foreign Studies were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, Li Renqun introduced the general situation of Anhui University. He pointed out that Anhui University has been communicating and cooperating with multiple universities in Australia. He hoped that the two sides could learn from each other and make progress together.
Chen Zhengfa, Dean of School of Foreign Studies introduced the research institute of Oceania literature and expressed his wish for closer communication. Tome Connor wished for more cooperation between Anhui University and Universities of Australia.
