Transtlate Held in the evening of 17th of April, the forum gave the floor to Professor Shen Dingli from Fudan University who talked about “USA and China’s global role”. It was sponsored by the Science and Research Department and the School of Political
Science and Public Administration of CUPL and was attended by over 100 teachers and students therewith.
Before the forum Professor Shen Dingli had been met with warm welcome and gratitude by Professor Zhang Baosheng, Vice President of CUPL.
In his speech, Professor Shen talked about the profound connotations in the policies of the two countries and what kind of strategic sight is needed for China to understand the U.S. value in policy under the new era of increasingly important role played by China in the world affaires.
The forum was concluded by a summary of international issues that china is facing with the influence of the U.S. and a session of questions and answers.
