The Joint Center for Bone and Joint Research
The Joint Center for Bone and Joint Research, established by the Biomedical Research Institute of Nanjing University (NJU) and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Western Australia (UWA), was formally launched at Nanjing on June 30. Prof. Zhang Rong, NJU Executive Vice President, and Prof. Ian Puddey, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the UWA, unveiled the center.
The joint center will focus on the research of molecular genetics and cell signaling in osteoclasts, osteoblast and cartilage cells, and train Ph.D. students in joint research.
