Christmas and New Year just left, eight primary and secondary schools —The International School of Lusaka, American International school, Horizon primary and high school, Rhodes Park School LTD, Lake Rode PTA school, BaoBab College, SOS Children Village and Luanshya Copper school, Which commenced at the same time in January. It is a new upsurge of learning Chinese language in Zambia.
These schools are located in Lusaka---- the capital of Zambia and some other provinces also, which are the key schools in Zambia, and the students come from all over the world. The principal of Lusaka International School, said that the students of primary and secondary schools appear on the growing interest in learning Chinese, mainly because of the changing of ideology in Zambia, they recognize that China's rapid economic growth in recent years and good relationship between China and Zambia, and more and more students know about that learning Chinese language, understanding the Chinese culture is the key to open the window of China.
The initiatives of eight schools Chinese language classes at the same time caused great repercussions in Zambia society. And it will be good for learning Chinese language and knowing about Chinese culture, and it will play a significant role in promoting exchanges of young people between China and Zambia, and it will praise the more in-depth developments in this field.
