Before China's traditional Spring Festival, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, Mr. Zhou Yuxiao, Political Counsellor, Mr. Liu Zhengjie, Commercial Counsellor, Mr. Chai Zhijing, Military attaché, Mr. He Zhijian, Director of Political Department, Mr. Zhao Haihan and other embassy staff came to Confucius Institute teachers’ residence, expressed cordial condolences to teachers and volunteers.
Ambassador Zhou cordially talked with teachers and enquired teachers’ living and working situation. The New Year's greetings and best wishes from Ambassador Zhou made everyone extremely impressed!
Confucius institute teachers, Mr. Wang Jinzhong and Mr. Guo Guangwei reported to Ambassador Zhou and other leaders about their work of language teaching and cultural transmission and discussed their future developing perspectives. Ambassador highly appreciated the development of Confucius Institute and teachers’ selfless dedication.
Also, Ambassador Zhou analyzed present situation in Zambia; and in term with the property and mission of Confucius Institute teachers, he demanded us to identify the location, keep teamwork, and continue to improve educational level and the image of Confucius Institute, contribute to the promotion of Chinese culture and the development of friendship between Zambian and Chinese.
