The Acrobatics Major

As the important department of Beijing International Arts School , the acrobatics speciality enjoys high popularity and influence both at home and abroad. The main learning content of the speciality includes: base lessons focusing on basic skill of waist 、 leg 、 tumbling 、 handstand and so on, program lessons aimed at mastering the performance capability of modern acrobatic art and improving comprehensive art diathesis of students. The teachers of the department are excellent acrobatic teachers chosen from all over the country who have higher teaching level and stronger spirit of innovation .For these past years, the department has trained a great deal of excellent talents for the country, especially for China National Acrobatic Troupe. During the period of study at school, the students of the acrobatics speciality have already visited more than 50 countries and regions with China National Acrobatic Troupe and they received warm-hearted welcome with their excellent performances. Since the beginning of the foundation of our school, the students bring into play very important roles in contests at home and abroad. They win 9 gold medals independently and win 8 gold medals with other acrobatic performers, bringing the country honors.

The acrobatics speciality of the school has also trained a number of batches of students for Russia, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, USA and etc, drawing wide attention from the art fields and news media at home and abroad. The Dance Major

The Dance Speciality is the basic speciality of Beijing International Arts School . It recruits graduates from domestic elementary schools and foreign students with the prerequisites for learning dance at the corresponding conditions. The speciality aims at providing high-quality student resources for the dance specialities of the art colleges and universities and offering excellent persons with performance ability to various kinds of literature units at home and abroad.

The speiciality is equipped with qualified teachers, owning specializing teaching force with excellent graduates from Beijing Dance Institute as base and experienced middle-aged teachers as backbone. Beijing International Art School also employs senior professors from Beijing Dance Institute and other Institutes as subject directors and they teach in person.

The teaching force of the main subjects of the speciality is mainly composed of two groups: young teachers who are excellent graduates from Institute Central of Fine Art and other universities and the middle-aged teachers who have rich teaching experiences and remarkable specializing ability. The school employs some senior experts and professors from Institute Central of Fine Art and other specializing universities as instructors for specializing subjects. The main curriculums include performance, vocality, lines of the actor or actress, physique, theory of movies and television 、 art theory, appreciation for music, common sense of traditional opera ， etc. The cultural teaching adopts the materials of ordinary education.

The department of performance speciality recruits Chinese graduates from junior high schools all over the country and foreign students with certain levels of Chinese language. The length of schooling is three years. The department aims at providing student resources for the performance speciality of art universities and offering art societies outstanding performance talents.

The speciality is equipped with powerful teaching force made up mainly of middle-aged teachers who graduated from the Central Opera Institute and other universities and have many years of performance experiences. There are some senior professors from Central Academy of Drama and Beijing Film Academy and other famous universities who come to school and make instructions regularly.

The Martial Art Major

The martial art speciality is a basic department of Beijing International Arts School . The school set dual requirements in terms of physical education and art for the speciality. The main curriculums include fundamental skill of martial art, a series of skills, and usage of appliances, Chinese boxing and performance. The speciality enables students to master the exercising methods of many genres, many kinds of fighting methods such as kickboxing and Taekwondo. The martial art speciality has standardized teaching, acts and strict management as well as values the teaching of cultural subjects and the cultivation of martial morality. The speciality recruits graduates with certain basic skills of martial art from domestic elementary schools and foreign students of corresponding ages and with certain skills. The length of schooling sets for Chinese students is six years but for foreign students can be determined according to their learning requests and their original skills. The martial art speciality provides high-quality student resources for colleges and universities, offering coaches to all the large-sized Wushu Societies all over the country, training characteristic martial art actors for the movie and television fields.

The martial art speciality is equipped with excellent teachers including excellent graduates from the martial art faculty of Beijing Physical Education University and experienced middle-aged teachers. Additionally, the school employs the experts from the Beijing Physical Education University who give instructions in teaching regularly.
