The bridegroom rode on a horse, passing through the crowd and waving to the people. After the bride arrived at the bridegroom's residence, the couple would host a wedding ceremony, during which the bride and bridegroom performed three bows. The first bow was to the heaven and earth; the second to their parents; the third to each other. Three bows implied the bride and groom can get bless from the heaven and earth, parents and relatives.
