Application

1.Admission Requirements：

Length of the program	Admission Requirements	Time of Enrollment	Length of Schooling	Graduation
Short-term Training Programs	No age limitation (the students under 18 years old must be accompanied by their parents or guardians)	No time limitation	2 weeks and over	Students who fulfill all the required courses and pass the examinations will get study certificates.
Long-term Training Programs	Students from 18 to 55 years old with no bad study records	February or September	half year and over
Undergraduate Programs	Students from 18 to 55 years old with HSK 4 certificate and High school diploma	September	3 to 6 years	Students who fulfill all the required courses, pass the examinations and successfully defend their thesis will be awarded a bachelor/master degree.
Postgraduate Programs	Students from 18 to 55 years old with HSK 5 certificate and Bachelor degree certificate	September	2 to 5 years

2. Application Procedures

1) Fill in Admission Application Form of CNU and Physical Examination Form for Foreigners

2) Students shall submit the following documents to International Students Office.

① Admission Application Form of CNU

② Physical Examination Form for Foreigners together with the original copy (lab copy of AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, type B Hepatitis and X-ray) of the health examination from public hospitals with stamp.

③ Photocopy of final diploma and transcript

④ Photocopy of Passport

⑤ Study plan

⑥ Photocopy of HSK certificate (Students applying for Undergraduate Programs and Postgraduate Programs)

⑦ Two recommendation letters by (associate) professor (Students applying for Postgraduate Programs)

3) After approval of all the documents, the International Students Office will send Admission Notice and Visa Application Form (JW202 Form) to the students, with which the students shall go to the Chinese embassy or consulate for an X Visa (students’ Visa).

4) Students shall come to the International Students Office of CNU for registering on the required date and hand in all the necessary documents for admission. The documents needed are Admission Notice, Passport, JW202 Form, Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, 4 one-inch passport pictures. All tuition fee and Accommodation fee must be paid before the semester begins.

5) Except the documents mentioned above, overseas students who transfer from other Chinese Universities to CNU shall submit a transferring certificate by the previous school.
