RUC Holds the Mid-Autumn Day Reception for International Teachers

Transtlate Renmin University held the Mid-Autumn Day Reception for international teachers, dining nearly 60 international teachers of RUC and their families on the evening of Sept. 28th, 2009. RUC Vice-President Prof. Chen Yulu attended and addressed the reception.
A total of 45 long-stay international teachers from USA, Germany, France, Russia, Japan, ROK, Austria, Canada, UK and Columbia are working at RUC from 2009 to 2010. They are teaching in the School of Foreign Languages, School of Law, School of International Studies, School of Literary Studies, School of Labor and Human Resources, and so on.
Prof. Chen Yulu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the international teachers for their hard work and sincere dedication. He reviewed the RUC’s construction, development and achievement in the past 60 years since the establishment of P.R. China. He hoped to invite more international teachers, open more English-taught courses and strengthen the cultivation of RUC students with broad international views and strong communicative abilities to promote RUC into a broad international stage. RUC would provide better accommodation and treatment for international teachers so as to make them enjoy a pleasant stay at Renmin.
Prof. Tang Zhong, Director of RUC International Office, chaired the reception. Other representatives from International Office and Personnel Office also attended the reception.
