Master Program in Management Science of SJTU Was Top 37 in the FT Global Rankings
Recently, the ranking of 2009 MSC Global Top 50 of the world famous financial media, British “The Financial Times”, was released. Master program in management science of SJTU participated in the appraisal for the first time, and ranks the 37th globally. Antai College of Economics & Management, SJTU is the only business college of Mainland China in the ranking list, and is also the first business college of the university from the Mainland to be listed in the ranking since the set of MSC ranking.
FT Annual MSC Global Ranking is one of the current ranking surveys on business schools in universities that have received more and more attention world widely. All the survey data have been collected through independent inquiry and all the Top 50 are the world-renowned business schools. Antai of SJTU ranked the 41st globally in 2008 FT MBA Global Ranking and was in the front rank of Asia. This year, Antai of SJTU ranks the 37th in the 2009 FT Annual MSC Global Ranking. This indicates that the international strategies of SJTU have made considerate progress. The rapid growth of China’s economy has offered development opportunities and good environment to the business colleges. In the ranking, many data related to the master program in management science of Antai, SJTU rank top. “The employment rate three months after graduation”of graduates is 98%, which is the second highest in the world; besides, the employment situation and career development of the graduates are very satisfactory for the average weighted salaries three years after graduation is 300,000 RMB, equal to all the tuition fee for education and signifies a high Return on Investment (ROI). The job on the students’career development of Antai is also outstanding and it ranks the 25th globally in the “Career Development Ranking”; its degree of internationalization has been widely recognized and ranks the 22nd globally in the “International Experience Ranking”.
