Transtlate The postdoctoral research center of physics was approved recently by the notification of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, which marks the discipline construction and talents training of the College of Physics and Electronic Engineering have scaled to a new level.
The discipline construction of the College of Physics and Electronic Engineering has made a series of significant progresses during the last decade. In 1998, Atomic and Molecular Physics obtained right to grant master's degree; in 2000, Condensed Matter Physics obtained right to grant master's degree; in 2003, Atomic and Molecular Physics obtained right to grant doctorate, while Theoretical Physics and Circuit and System obtained right to grant master's degree; in 2005 Physics obtained right to grant master's degree. The discipline construction has refined the research orientations, and motivated the growth of the academic pacemakers and backbones of the College. The Atomic and Molecular Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Theoretical Physics, Plasma Physics, Optics, Electronics and Information Technology have evolved into the dominant disciplines with distinctive characteristics. The approval of the postdoctoral research center of Physics will further enhance the standards of discipline construction and talents training of the College of Physics and Electronic Engineering.
