Brazilian Business Administration Council Visits GDUFS
From Rio Grand do Sul Regional Business Administration Council, a Brazilian delegation concluding over 20 members, came to visit GDUFS on October 14th. MBA Education Center held a communication conference for them in the No.6 Teaching Building, Room B103. Hosted by Wu Yiming, the meeting was also attended by many leaders and the full-time students of MBA09B.
The exacutive doctor Sun Jianjun welcomed and expressed a strong aspiration that both sides can strengthen the cultural and educational exchange to promote the global cooperation.
During the meeting, Wu Yiming introduced the school's history and the basic conditions of the MBA education center. She indicated that as the first MBA project in Chinese foreign languages school, MBA Education Center practiced the concept of "World-Wide Vision, All-English Teaching", advocated the value of SMILE(Social responsibility, Mutual Respect, Integrity, Learning by doing, Enthusiasm), and aimed at cultivating cross-culture talents. GDUFS was propelling the Internationalization of education Project 310. Take "1+1"degree cooperation with University of Missouri and short-term overseas studies as an example, they have carried out many items and were ready for more Brazilian colleges and Business Management Associations to join.
Then Mr. Rogerio de maraes bohn began his introduction about Brazil. Firstly, he introduced Brazil's geographical environment, the population and the situation of economic development. Then he continued that including members with deep education background, Rio Grand do Sul Regional Business Administration was developing business administration education and culture exchanges. They welcomed teachers and students in MBA Education Center for a visit in the future.
Then came to the fantastic speech "Made-in-China" given by the American Fulbright scholar and the vice Professor Huang Lei. He indicated that the reform and opening stimulated the Chinese economy to have a sustained development and became an essential element in the global economy. Though "Made-in China" has played a vital role in export-oriented economy, it do has great disadvantages. The development of Chinese economy should not depend on "Made-in-China" policy that with low added value. Attention must be paid on the bad effects on economy and environment. "Made-in-China" was a hot topic in the meeting.
Students from MBA09B showed great interests in the situation of investment, financial policy and the developmental pattern of Brazil, so they exchanged their ideas deeply with the delegation under an exiting atmosphere.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the campus, enjoying the environment with rich culture and expressed the hope to communicate futher with the MBA center.
