New Foreign Teachers Ready for their CTBU Life
The new foreign teachers for this semester arrived on campus at the end of August and early Sept. The Interntional Office held an orientation on Sept. 11 to prepare them for their new life at CTBU. They were showed around the campus, visiting the teaching buildings, Long Distance Learning Center, IBS Bar and International Student’s Apartment, and displaying great enthusiasm in the beautiful landscape, distinctive architecture and advanced facilities. Following the campus tour, the International Office briefed them on the university’s history and development, management system, foreign staff service and teaching affairs. The orientation provided them with a better undertanding of CTBU and their job. All the teachers looked forward to the new experience.
With eight new ones, there are totally twenty-two foreign teachers working on campus this semester, still the second largest number of foreign staff among Chongqing universities.
