September 5 - GDUFS is proud to announce the establishment of the first Hong Kong-based internship program in GDUFS history! A delegation of GDUFS administrators led by Dong Xiaolin, GDUFS Vice President, and Chen Weiguang, Dean of School of Finance and Economics, visited the Chu Kong Shipping Development Company Limited in Hong Kong on August 25th where a signing ceremony was held at the company's head office to secure the agreement.

Yang Bangming, Managing Director of the Company, welcomed the GDUFS Delegation on the ceremony and briefed the guests on the company background. He remarked that the implementation of the internship agreement is important for gearing up a bilateral cooperation between GDUFS and the Company.

Mr. Dong Xiaolin thanked the Company for the assistance it is providing in the development of GDUFS. This company has been a great support to our campus in other ways as well. The Managing Director is giving to share corporate management and talent cultivation experiences. He hopes that the launch of the internship program will be a start of a new cooperation stage between the two sides. According to Mr. Dong Xiaolin, as a Hong Kong-based listed company, the international cometing capacity of the Chu Kong Company coinsides with the international education strategy of GDUFS, which contributes to the piorities in areas where progress can be made to develop the biliteral relationship. He also pointed out that academic support can be obtained from the Research Institute of International Services Outsourcing and Guangdong Academy for International Strategy established in GDUFS for fostering new growth for the cooperation on international services.
