MY CHINA-Drawing Contest Held by the Confucius Institute of VSSPU

The results of the Children Drawing Contest “My China” for 2-grade pupils from gymnasium 3 (Volgograd) were issued on 6th December. It started on 18th November and lasted till 1st December. Its initiators are the teachers from the Confucius Institute who have been teaching the Chinese language and culture to 30 gymnasia pupils for three months.

The students of the gymnasia with their teachers and parents were present at the festival of art at the CI of VSSPU. The concert was held for the participants of the contest with traditional Chinese dances, music tunes and melodies. Russian students who are studying Chinese as their major prepared a little skit dedicated to the Chinese dragon and taught the kids how to count Chinese style.

All the participants are awarded with diplomas, Chinese sweets and souvenirs. Their drawings will be handed to our partner, Tianjin Foreign Studies University.
