Chinese Language Courses Held in Sudan

Transtlate On May 1, 2012, Confucius Institute at University of Khartoum (CIUOFK) held a Chinese language course-completion ceremony for the students at Telecommunication and Information Branch of Ministry of Defense in Sudan. The leaders at the branch, directors at CIUOFK, 11 students and some teachers attended the ceremony.
The director at Telecommunication and Information Branch presented sincere appreciation to CIUFOK for the support and help their officers to study Chinese language, and congratulated to the students for their first-level completion. He said that China and Sudan are good friends. Two countries built good relation in education and economic fields. Learning Chinese language well will promote the understanding and communication between Sudanese and Chinese. The friendship is permanent and last forever. Then CIUOFK received the acknowledgement letter and presents.
On the ceremony, some teaching videos and class photo album were showed. Some students performed dialogue and made self-introduction in Chinese language. Their performance received applause from all.

This is the first-term course and last for three and half months. Besides language teaching, lessons of calligraphy, paper-cut and singing Chinese songs were taught. Eleven soliders all passed the exam and were awarded the certificates from CIUOFK. At present, students still keep great interest in learning Chinese language and longing for the next level of intermediate course.
