China Statistical Results of Scientific Papers Released

On September 27th, 2013, China Science and Technology Information Research Institute released the statistical results of 2012 scientific papers published and cited by domestic and abroad publication, distribution and influence of each disciplinary field in Beijing.
According to statistics result, 823 dissertations from Shanghai University in 2012 were selected by Science Citation Index Expanded Edition (SCIE), ranked 38th among Chinese colleges and universities across the country (777 dissertations, ranked 34th in 2011).
Shanghai University ranked 20th in mathematics research papers selected by SCI among Chinese colleges and universities; 75 papers from Shanghai University were selected by top 1/10 impact factor journals, ranked 37th in China.
741 dissertations were selected by Engineering Index (EI), ranked 42 in 2012. (891 dissertations, ranked 37th in 2011)
406 dissertations were selected by CPCI-S (former ISTP), ranked 25th in China. (422 dissertations, ranked 17th in 2011)
Conference also issued the number of 2012 international patent authorization number (according to Dewent), Shanghai University ranked 19th among Chinese colleges and universities; Shanghai University ranked 38th in 2012 China Excellent Research Papers ranking, 245 research papers were on the list.
