International and Chinese Students of SAU Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival
On September 18th, 2013, a group of Chinese students joined international students to celebrate Mid-autumn Festival. Among the international students it is also known Autumn Moon Festival because they particularly love the festival for its extremely round moon.

In this celebration activity, Chinese volunteers were invited to introduce the origin of this festival and some legends about it. College of International Education also organized a program to teach students how to make moon cakes. A professional baker from the university bakery shop was invited to show the process of making moon cakes. The charming and interactive chef also taught students make their own moon cakes.

A group of Chinese students made the program more fun to develop some interactive games such as making and eating moon cakes as fast as one could. There was an active participation of students and enjoyed a lot. The program ended with delicious moon cakes and a delighting smile on everyone’s face.
